Is Crest with Scope vegan?

January 7th, 2009
  • I've heard it was... not sure.

The reason I ask is because i'm a vegan and I heard toothpaste gets rid of pimples... i don't care much about them but I was wondering if this is true and if its useable to a vegan...

if not, what's a vegan way to get rid of pimples?

  • yea crest and scope test on animals. so technically it is not.

acnefree - i emailed them and they do not test on animals and their glycerin and stearic acid are from plants not animals ,they told me they used NO animal products! :) i thought that was pretty neat.
plus it actually works. :) they make i think an on the spot stuff but the whole 3 step thing is good! lol

  • No it's not. I've heard that toothpaste thing before too. LOL. Why don't you find some cruelty-free toothpaste and give it a try?

  • If you only care about not consuming animal products, they should be fine, but Crest and Scope are both owned by Procter & Gamble, who test on animals.

  • i'm thankful everyone in my family has good skin, i never even got acne when i was a teen.

I don't know about scope being vegan, but can't you just try commercial products made specifically for acne?
