Chrysler The Giant Manufacturer

November 18th, 2008

Chrysler is still one of the most popular auto manufacturers around and additions like the PT Cruiser have only served to reinforce that fact. If you’re looking for your next new car to be a Chrysler, check out the wide variety of models available.

The 2006 Chevrolet Equinox is a 4-door sports utility vehicle available at a competitive price. Chrysler has been proud to announce the fact that the Chevrolet Equinox is the first SUV to offer the comfort and handling of a sedan. It easily accommodates up to five passengers and provides a sliding rear door for bulky cargo. Two trims are available on the Equinox, the basic LS and the upgrade, the LT trim.

Chrysler has introduced the sports tourer in a model called the Chrysler Pacifa; an all-wheel drive model that easily accommodates up to six passengers. A disappearing third seat for carrying cargo is also included. The Pacifica includes a long list of amenities including power adjusted pedals with memory, 10-way power driver’s seat, heated first and second row seats, second row bucket seats with fore-aft, recline and fold-flat capabilities and second and third row individual seats fold to create flat-load floor. New safety features round out the amenities offered with the Pacifica such as new Chrysler inflatable knee blocker; a device that is meant to reduce lower leg injuries in an automobile crash.

Similar to the well received letter cars marketed by Chrysler from 1955 to 1965, the 2006 Chrysler 300M is a sedan with a powerful engine and benefits one might commonly associate with a European sedan. Two different models are available; the 300M and the 300M Special. Just a few of the features consumers will find include a center dash timepiece, leather-trimmed heated driver and front passenger seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat-back and an extra large trunk.

A full size sedan, the 2006 Chrysler Concorde comes in three different styles; the Concorde LX, the Concorde LXi and the Concorde Limited. The basic model, the Cocorde LX, comes standard with front independent suspension while the top of the line, the Concorde Limited, features leather-trimmed seats and a HomeLink Universal Transceiver. All three models offer a 50/50 split-bench front seat, and 18.7 cubic feet of trunk space. Next generation air bags for driver and front-passenger are included in the safety package along with available supplemental side air bags.

Beckoning a nostalgic image, the Chrysler PT Cruiser has demanded attention since the day it first rolled off the production line. Three different models are now available, the PT Touring, the PT Limited and the PT Turbo. A 5-speed manual transaxle or an option 4-speed automatic are offered with all models as well as four-wheel antilock disc brakes and Low-Speed Traction Control.

The 2006 Chrysler Sebring is available in a wide variety of makes and with numerous amenities. The Sebring Sedan is available in LX and LXi models, perfect for families while the Sebring Coupe is also available in LX and Lxi models and is geared for those who like a sportier image. Stylish luxury is offered with the Sebring Convertible; available in four models-the Sebring Convertible LX, Sebring Convertible GTC, Sebring Convertible Lxi and Sebring Convertible Limited.

While all of the makes and models of the Sebring line differ to some degree in terms of amenities and features, most do include the following features standard: roomy center console, a HomeLink Unviversal Transceiver, Traveler’s Display Compass, fuel economy information, estimated distance to empty and outside temperature. Next Generation multistage air bags for driver and front passenger are included as well as available supplemental side curtain air bags.
