Well, Jacob or Edward? (Twilight)?
January 7th, 2009Edward and Bella belong together. I mean none of this in a bad way, but they are the characters, and good characters have flaws. Edward is controlling, and kind of creepy. Bella is dependent and needy. They are the perfect match.
Edward, is, more or less, the perfect man, correct? Don't try to deny it, you all know it's true. Well, ladies, I'm sad to say, but men like Edward just don't exist. Sorry to burst your bubble. However, Jacob picked Bella up when she was broken, put those pieces back together. We all know it, she wouldnt have made it without him. She would have been forever broken, because thats just the kind of girl she is.
So there are not men like Edward, but there ARE men like Jacob. Good, kind, caring, but they're human. They have flaws. They make mistakes, and they have their ups and downs. You can fall hard for a "Edward", but you can truly fall in love with a "Jacob".
So Bella+Edward=match made in heaven.
but personally, Jacob is the one for me. :)
As much as I love Jacob (and totally cried in the third when Bella had to choose after she kissed Jake and actually found out she liked it) I think Edward is better for Bella.
Still, it was pretty cruel what Bella did, stringing him on for so long.
When I read New Moon, I almost wanted her to just run off into the sunset with Jacob. But then Edward came back so...
I don't know, I would definatly go with Jacob if they were real and liked ME. He's just more real and I could grow old with Jake. Eternal love may sound appealing, but I want to grow with my husband.
P.S. No offence Jacob!
P.P.S. In the movie, they're not that great either, because Robert Pattinson makes a good Edward, but in real life he has like stubble, and messed up hair, and he's 22!
P.P.P.S. (lol) does anyone know if there's going to be a movie for the other books in the series? I think there's going to be one for New Moon and Eclipse, but I'm not sure if there's going to be one for Breaking Dawn, because finding the characters is going to be hard, and also getting Renesmee to grow up fast...and it'll have to be made into 3 movies, because there's 3 'books' in Breaking Dawn, and it would be hard to fit in the whole plot of Breaking Dawn into a movie of ONLY like 90 minutes or so.

I dunno, they're both great! You fall in love with both of them along with Bella :)
It's impossible not to fall for Edward a little bit when you're reading the books, because delicate little Bella probably makes him seem better than he is. He's portrayed as smart, loving, sweet, and caring. And, I've always like vampires more than wearwolves to begin with, so that might have helped a little bit.
But, Edward DOES have his flaws. He's a bit overprotective (Not that bella doesn't need all the protection she can get, Miss Clutz!), and he plays mind games as well as Jacob in order to get bella to choose him. Jacob only makes it more obvious. His ploy in the end of Eclipse, before the battle with Jacob, honestly, amde me want to rip his throat out. (If I could...Which I know I couldn't...) because he purposely put Jacob in even more pain than he needed to. I like Edward, But I know I wouldn't be able to choose him.
But I like Jacob too. He's a bit obnoixous at times, but he's also funny, he's open and honest, and he really cares about Bella as well. I do like jacob, there's no denying that, but I really can't pick jacob either.
Whiiiiich, this is where I draw my line, forming...TEAM SWITZECULLEN!! Although I love both jacob and Edward, (The Switze part) Alice is my number one faovrite. (The Cullen part)

Towards the end of Eclipse I found myself liking Jacob better.
However, I completely agree with you on one thing, I can't imagine Bella with anyone else other than Edward.
At the end of Breaking Dawn, it got really confusing.
I guess I like Jacob better, but that doesn't mean that some days I don't wake up wishing there were Edwards in the world :D
